
As the Basildon Table Tennis League season draws to a close, there have been multiple successes for the club.
The A team retained the Premier Division title in emphatic fashion. After being given a walkover victory by their closest rivals Northlands Park A, the A team created an unassailable lead at the top of the table with two games to spare. Thanks to a talented and dedicated squad, captain Ian Wall was able to consistently field strong teams all season, leading to their fourth Premier Division title in five seasons.

In Division 1, the C team finished the season in the runners-up spot. Captain Tony Ayliffe led his team to a very respectable second place, being bested only by a strong Hockley B team.
In the Handicap Cup, we have an all-Basildon TTC semi-final round. The A team is up against the D team, whilst the G team play against the F team. The semi-final matches are taking place w/c March 24th, with the final taking place w/c April 7th.
In the Divisional Cups, the A team will be up against their B team rivals in the semi-final of the Premier Division Cup. In Division 1, Basildon C play COYS for a place in the final and in Division 2, Basildon H travel to Hadleigh Forum in their match.
